Surf Turfin’ USA: The Later Years

More in the The Episodes

I just arrived in Oakland, CA after a very cold drive down the coast with someone I found on Craigslist. I’m currently taking a few days off to relax because I’m pretty darn ill. If you didn’t notice in the opening sequence in this video, my voice currently resembles what Alexander Fleming’s voice must have sounded like upon the discovery of enzyme lysozyme. The van I was riding in on the way down here started smoking a few times, and my volunteer, Berkley, and I stood in the rain for a bit early in the morning. Nevertheless, we had a great time and I’m psyched to have made it coast to coast! Now I just need to figure out how to get from Santa Cruz to LA. Hmm.

If you live in the Bay Area I could really use some vitamins or medicine. I personally prefer Flinstones chewables and/or a warm blanky.

Anywho, this trucker’s going to keep on trucking little partners. Without much further ado, I present “Smurf Turfin’ USA: The Later Years.”

  1. Hahaha. So damn funny. Can’t wait to see what you say about Eugene. In response to you being sick, I highly recomend that someone get you lots of Airborne and this tea called Kombucha (pronounced com-boo-cha). It’s this ancient Chinese tea with live probiotics in it, it can usually be found in health food stores or any hippie market, usually sold with the cold drinks. Synergy makes a great one, it may taste funny but I swear you’ll feel energized and well twice as fast as any other way. hope you feel better and someone feeds you soup!
